Up here at Birch Bay camping and the weather is nice and sunny and will be heading into the 80's for the next few days. First time taking the cats w/ us camping. They are both hunkered down in the kitty litter boxes w/ there heads peeking out. I don't think they appreciate the fun of camping yet, lol! A squirrel came halfway down a tree near them and was teasing them w/ his squawking.

Oh my ... cats along on the camping trip! That's new! Hope those squirrels leave them alone, or maybe not! Will you be able to let them out to play outside, or have to keep them in the camper? Sounds like beautiful weather for you, and you took your puter along! Cool!!! Have fun hiking, biking, walking, boating, whatever you do!

Yes I know kind of crazy taking the cats but they hate to stay at home and just have the neighbors coming to check on them now and then so thought I'd give it a try. One is in a big wire pen and the other is in a dog crate. They are sisters and don't like each other so you have to keep them separate which makes it even harder. I brought harnesses for them too and two dog stakes that screw into the ground. Leashes too. I'll let them get used to where they are first before I try staking them or walking them on a leash which I know they won't like cuz tried it at home and they just lay down flat and won't budge, lol!

Haha, yeah cats don't typically enjoy going for a human directed walk! They don't like doing anything we WANT them to do, just what and when they decide then they will do it. LOL Have fun! Sounds like you have all sorts of options, but hope the squirrels don't come down and eat their food while they are staked out. :) That would be funny to watch, but bet the squirrels are used to the campers, just not any cats. Might be a fun show to watch!

Actually DH and I went for a walk around the campground when we first got here today and I saw a campsite w/ a big huge furry cat jumping up on the picnic table just enjoying the sunshine and calm as could be. Bet tho that they have had this cat w/ them camping from the time it was little. I'll take pix of how mine do.

Yesterday morning, the storm came flying through my area. It was sunny when I got to work, everyone left their windows down a little, since it has been so hot, and then BOOM, the storm was on us. Everyone was rushing out to roll windows up again. Got another inch of rain. Tonight, mowed and even though sunny all day, grass was still pretty heavy with moisture. It looks fine, though. Green and lush! LOVE IT! Hope you didn't get any bad wind, Sissy!!! We had tornado warnings all around us, but not where I worked or at home. Whew!

Well today I moved the Tin Foil Barb (picture of him in bucket) in the house, he's tropical and does not like it cold, temperature getting cool at nights now, going to 40 degrees tonight. Day's are still nice, todays high was just over seventy degrees. More and more leaves starting to fall and gathering on the ground, have to sweep the deck and walk daily now for leaves. The sun is moving lower on the horizon, getting dark sooner these days.

Colleen, what is the fish picture you posted?
We have "strong scattered storms" creeping in around 3 til 8 this afternoon, rain continuing through 2 a.m., then no more rain, sunshine and high of only about 70 tomorrow for my cousin's wedding! I have company coming this afternoon arriving around 2, so sure hoping they get here before the storms, and secretly hoping the storms miss me so I can show off my ponds and landscaping! Got grass mowed last night, but it sure was wet! May try to criss cross mow the back yard around noon before company gets here to spruce it up a little more, kind of mowed with an "edge", and I hate seeing that stripe! I think there was grass clumped up under the deck and that's why it has that stripe on the one edge of mowing, darn it! Oh well, life is not perfect.
