Deep deep purple iris blooming. Somehow I have ended up with a lot of them. Moved some from my small stream pond, to the bog, which they love!

After a hard day of watching me work.

After getting off to a rough start I feel like I am ready to enjoy! Had to get a new pump, a new outlet, and a new UV light. Let the relaxation begin! LOL

Big excitement here -- I have a lotus bud! First one since the emergency replanting just over a year ago. They are the iconic pond plant to me - I would love to have a bunch of them but I'll settle for a small tub for now.

Pickerel Rush seems happy too

and the Pitcher plants are just so crrrrazy and interesting

The Owl overseer was trying to keep at least one eye on me taking pictures.

I don't think I posted these earlier. Things are looking a little raggedy and overgrown at this moment -- but these photos are from that perfect time when things were just filling in and looking nice. We were having a little family gathering and had our furniture and cushions out. We parked our vehicles out front to free up the backyard area.
