First over-winter with my new bog add-on, and its finally all defrosted. So impressed with how well the bog functions. The second photo shows the water so crystal clear. Struggled with a good photo due to the reflections, but the water is a meter deep and not the slightest hint of murkiness or tannin. :)

I decided to pull everything this year and just start over in the spring. There IS a pond and waterfall under there somewhere. Note I was too lazy to take down my fall leaf netting (or bring in my garden lights), so it is now permanently installed under the snow until spring, and will probably be destroyed before it is all said and done. The support rod for it has broken under the weight (a extra-tall reflective fiberglass driveway marker stick under a pool noodle). Windchill and winter weather warnings for this weekend say it will be -12F and with a windchill that will kill you in 15 minutes if outside.

Some shots of the fountain in my header pool. Cleaned this area up and moved some plants around and got the liner leveled.

Looks like some heavy wet snow out there. Haven't even been out to clean the driveway yet but I have a feeling it's going to be a workout.
