My gosh. I feel like we are MONTHS behind everyone without cold weather. My peonies finally started blooming yesterday - at least 2 weeks behind the norm. The cool nights are really slowing things down. My lilies haven't even hit the surface yet!

3 single plants bought three weeks ago. At least 20 in there now and 3-4 in the bog too. It's an algae killer lol.

I love watching how fast my bog grows every day. It felt like such a scary thing to pull out most of my irises and plant new things! I learned everything I know about bog planting from this amazing forum!!!!!! Year 2 in progress and many years to go!

Thank you! hahahaha! Yes - so much advice, when you are a brand new pond owner (and unplanned) it is overwhelming. Finding this forum has been my best resource. I always recommend people check this out on the reddit pond group.

Night blooming lily out this morning. This one usually opens in the evening around 9:00 and stays open until 9:00 or 10:00 AM.

And, yes, I need to thin out that plant. Been away for a week.
