That is interesting … I never knew this…I have one golden color snail that I can always find because she is so bright and has no algae on her shell…I guess the trapdoor snails have a rougher shell so algae is able to grow on it..

I very seldom find a large one without algae. The smaller ones have cleaner shells.

A iris that somehow got into my hot tub pond. LOVE the color such a intense purple.

Other iris blooming now, love them all. These are in the big pond.

And of course lilies.
