I’m glad you’re safe and sound, Queen of Animated gifs!
Our dear friends up in Ferndale aren’t so fortunate. The Nooksack River flooded them out of their home. Whatcom county has the worst flooding in over 130 years.
Thank you and thanks to @brokensword he pronounced me Queen, lol!
So sorry for your friends losing their home. They will have to start all over which will not be easy for them I'm sure.
My sister lives up in Sedro Woolley and they were surrounded by water. Two lakes right below her turned into one. People were picking up Salmon swimming across the roads from a stream that flooded. She is safe tho too as up on a hill that overlooks all the mess.

29 koi moved in, 7 koi separated to sell, old media moved over, still need to redo the old filter setup in a temporary spot for winter, for 3 total filters.
Temporary net put up. Will be ordering and installing framework for a permanent net over whole area and shade cloth will be added as needed.

Pond equipment porn alert!

Santa Clause came early yesterday and brought me a new filter. Oddly, he wasn’t in his usual red and white suit and was driving a brown and yellow truck instead of a red and gold sled pulled by reindeer.

He knew I needed this. The old filter was leaking real bad.

Watch out for that tubing it is not the best . they call it kink free but it is prone to blowing.

Dang how many hours of scooping did that take. I'll be having my fun tomorrow
Honestly, it was maybe an hour. Scooping the surface doesn't take as long as having to go around & hand-pick them off the shelves (which I'll wait on until the trees are done dumping! Once for that chore is enough. lol)
