YEAYYYYY!!! 'Bout time, @Jhn ! Beautiful DBT, for sure. THAT'S the image in my head when I think about one day getting one. The skin color against the shell just makes it standout. Keep 'em comin'!
It works great!Oh, and here's a trick for you (photo); take your polarized sunglasses and hold them close to your camera phone lens, THEN take the pic. All your glare will go away!
@addy1are those yellow plants rudbeckia ?Post hard rain stormView attachment 141516
I think so they are volunteers on the edge of the big pond. They are pretty, get to live, but! I am highly allergic to black eyed susans our state flower. Those little thistles on the stems I get horrible contact dermatitis. So if grooming I snip from afar and have heavy shirt, sleeves on. Last time I got it my arms were as big as my legs.@addy1are those yellow plants rudbeckia ?

I need to take a closer look for the thistles. I do have some by the bee hives that look the same but no thistles on the stems.
Everything I plant is for the bees, our honey bees, but also all the native bees, bugs, bumble bees etc.i have them as a back border they really are quite vigorous get to about 8ft but they are a pretty plant and the bees love em
