It dropped 8 inches of snow on Saturday. I did some minor excavating before thinking to grab pics, but so far the simple storm window and 300w aquarium heater over the pond works fine. Water is lukewarm even when it's temps in the negatives here in Vermont! Don't know if guppies are alive or not, obviously I can't see much in there, but I do drop a little food in the hole every other week or so (which you can see around the open frame here where the fountain is running ). I did decide to keep the pump in it year-round since it was staying plenty warm.

we named him peanut because my dad used to love his fresh roasted peanuts and I love them also to this day .Even dogs go crazy when I bring a bag home from the flea market .No snow here but 24 degrees and sunny this morning but getting up to 40 degrees .I wish you northerners would stop sharing your cold weather with us;) from a former northerner

I laugh at people at the flea market wearing heavy coats when it is in the 40's out and there I am with my light sweat jacket on .I guess I still have northern blood in my body .Thing is that when it is in the 70's I am comfortable also .2 way street I guess .
