thanks haver, That white goldfish is Shamu. She was mostly orange with just a little white when I first got her.

And yes! the plants are growing like crazy. Except the lilies but thats my fault because I didnt plant them right. I should have topped the pots with gravel or some larger stones to hold them in the planting media. Just have not wanted to mess with pulling the pots back out of the pond to fix them

This pretty fern just showed up by my pond one day. Now it's growing quite nicely and it is welcome to stay for as long as it wants.

Here are some pictures of my pond as it currently sits. I also posted these on my build thread... But I feel like being a picture whore today! I still need to do a lot of cleanup around the yard, and the grass is ridiculous, but it's getting there... I recently put in the stone floor for patio furniture. I'm still waiting for the rock to settle and the gravel to settle in between the rocks, so there is an overflow of gravel there, but once everything settles, I'll sweep away the excess. I recently planted the weeping larch, the hosta, two Hinoki False Cypress trees, and some creeping jenny in the stream. I still need to do some landscaping, get the water chemistry under control, and CLEAN UP THE YARD!!!

Lovely pond and yard!!! Buckets, level, pipes, rocks, chair to sit and ponder, bug spray, drink bottles, gloves, it all looks just like my back yard except much neater!!! I'm not done with the build yet!!!! My biggest frustration is putting everything away so it doesn't get rained on or broken and then having to haul it all out again!!! I'll have to check out your building thread to get your pond info. it looks like ours will be similar. Did you use some sort of flat rocks for your walls? They look nice and big but not like boulders.

Yesterday my sister got me a new phone with camera for my birthday. Now I can continue taking pictures. Since I haven't taken pictures in a while I think I'll fill Y'all in,

Since I removed the spill way and made it one with the rest of the pond I decided to build a row of stones over the inlet. Makes the side pond like a separate pond. The inlet is still open under the stones so the fish can swim into it.

Here are the lilies. They've produced a few flowers already about 2 weeks ago. Just leaves now.

Have the fountain shut off as the lilies began to crowd. The clovers are taking off.

The birds made a mess of the clovers near the shore. The sensitive plants were also torn up but have re-grown. Umbrella palm are taking off.

I see a couple buds popping up from mine now and w/ temps getting higher I think I will have some pretty ones blooming soon
