What does your pond look like ... Today?

Nephews playing in the water as I am thinking okay this is okay, the fish don't look stresses and aeration is a good thing....I hope they do t have lotion on

I would think it would take a lot of lotion to hurt the water. Maybe train the kids to wash before playing with the fish.

I've climbed in the pond and then remembered that I had bug spray on - didn't bother anything. And the fish won't mind the kids a bit - especially when they realize they probably have food! Koi are pretty hardy creatures and seem to enjoy human interaction.

boys and ponds grow into men with ponds .A little lotion will just be caught by your filter ,so no worry

Their hands are probably dirty with a little organic dirt but I always tell parents no bug spray or lotion please and if they do have bug spray to please wash hands off before playing with fish. Don't be afraid to say something as most parents won't mind and should understand. Nice pond!

I have put my arms down in the water of my pond and then remembered Oh I have lotion on. Done it several times w/no issues.

We’re rebuilding/repairing the deck along the back of our house, overlooking the pond - new cedar decking, facia boards and railing. I’ll post a few pics when we’re done. If you zoom in a bit, you can see our waterfall rocks reflected in the house’s sliding glass door.

Better to see kids outside than parked in front of a tv, besides I'm sure both fish and kids are loving the experience.

well hubby had an appointment with his heart doctor and boy did he get an ear full of all the mistakes made .Wrong dosage on medicine and then nurse mistake and then he almost bled out from the dye sight for his cath. of his heart .I did get some done on filter .The soda holders will hold up the lava rock and the filter crate for the batting and reusable furnace filter .like what I had but more room for the crate

,but boy is it hot out .Rained hard in Danville but got a mile from my house and not a drop of rain.pipe will be black abs

The Cardinal plant is blooming, it started out with several branches but lost some with every storm...good thing it roots easily so now I have a few around the yard.

Thank you! That is the simplest railing ever, fast to build, easy to paint, can tie plants (tomatoes, Dahlias....) to it and it doesn't constrict the view like regular railings
