JB I have enjoyed seeing your pond evolve. Love how clear your water is. Mine has turned green again do to last weeks hot temps and full sun. Sigh

How come I am the only one that talks on my video's? You guys must be all shy! :phantom:

I hate my voice. ...but not only that, I can't think of what to say while being recorded. My thoughts and words would be getting stuck so many times that I'd have to keep stopping the recording and trying over, so its just easier to take a video with no voice over. Its nice to hear the birds and stuff anyway (y)

I love to talk, maybe I talk too much.... I also love to hear other voices from down south, cause you all talk funny with a accent!!!

Colleen, I like listening to you Canadians talk cuz you sound funny too. I think we all sound funny to each other but it's a good kind of funny. Now don't forget to take the dawgs oot side of the hoose ta day and Colleen how come you don't ever say eh? I want to know if us west coasters over here sound funny and how would you describe it?

Thanks colleen,
I think it's partly the mulberries even though I net them out 2 times a day I still got a lot at the bottom. Also the leaves of the tree have high reddish tannin too. I know it'll pass.. I think my pond got this color once last year but never murky... I'm wondering why murky...

I think we all sound funny to each other but it's a good kind of funny.

Being in the Midwest, right between two large Midwestern cities: Milwaukee and Chicago, and right on a large body of water, we have people from the north, south, east, and west that have moved here for various reasons, so I'm used to hearing many different accents; So much so, that I don't notice accents unless they're really thick.

Speaking of accents and differences in language, do you guys know what a bubbler is?

Well I must say I'm a little embarrassed showing my pond after seeing all the beautiful ponds everyone else has :shame: But here it is........I still have too much liner showing. I'm going to try and re-do all the rocks around the border and see if I can't fix that problem. Someday!

I love your little pond!!! You could take your stone off and dig a very small shelf and put them back on and the liner will be out of sight. You will have a bit of the stone below water level.

Yes I noticed looking online that there are many different kinds of the plant. Just keep and eye on it and make sure it's not jumping out of the pond. Some spread by rhizomes but can also spread by seeds. The ones I read about all said they can become aggressive but if you know that you can keep it under control. It is a cool looking plant :)

It can get invasive JW if left unchecked. In a local wildlife area there is a hillside of it. Still very cool looking tho, I agree. JB looking good, glad to have another Wisconsinite active on the forum.

Colleen,
Do you have a bottom drain in your ponds anywhere?
