Our wild duck hatched hers about 2 weeks ago and walked the babies away. Someone down the road has a bigger pond

I like that we only have non-venomous ones on this side of the Cascade Mountains. I rescued one from the road a couple days ago. It's so cold here right now they don't move much. I hate to see them squished, not much good for anything then :rolleyes:

Ducklings are hatching! Saw Mrs. Duck moving around a lot. Went into my basement to look through the window and finally saw some heads!

congrats daddy at least this time you were home to see the babies .They are cute as a button .I have seen people that make worm compost and put it near where ducks nest just to make sure the momma does not wonder far from her babies .They seem to not mind loosing some of the worms for a good cause.I bet you can hear them
