I haven't been posting nearly as many photos/videos of my pond this year. Been focused on the native garden, but the pond is still doing great!

So hot today decided to take some pictures so I could view my pond while sitting in the AC! Forgive the photo overload, I get carried away. :D

Lily overview - Just went in yesterday and cut back most of damaged leaves, had an aphid outbreak but some lacewing larvae came in and helped clear it up!

Went to nursery last evening look for some cool plants..and brought 2 plants for my pond

lily pads are growing so fast the days, am loving it :cool:

So here is the FIRST plants, the umbrella palm(looks like its a dwarf)

and here is the other, A GAINT WATER LETTUCE.. lol
never seen such huge lettuce before, its even bigger than those lily pads.

The lettuce I've ordered online looks like its child on the right side
any idea if they're of different species or some other reason?
