The ponds water is disappearing.
Can anybody tell me what type of plant this is? I dont know much about plants...but this flower bloomed 2 days ago and already seems to be shriveling up. Why??
JB, I don't think that first one is Bee Balm (Monarda). It looks different than any Bee Balm i've ever seen.
Pretty sure it depends on the type of irises. Bulb irises (like Bearded) do not like a wet environment. Rhizome type irises like Louisiana and Japanese do fine in bog/wet environments. I have a Siberian iris that i'm experimenting with in water (just put a small piece in 2 days ago) but i've read mixed reviews as to whether it will work in an aquatic environment.I have irises growing all around my house but they never grow in my pond even when I have them planted above water level. How do you guys do it?
