This was about 5 minutes ago. This was taken through a window because we were getting golf ball size hail at the time. That is all of the blurry stuff and white stuff that you see.

We had a terrible hail storm last night, 3am. Not golf ball size though. There was so much of it when it was done the grass looked like it was covered with snow. I could hear the sound of hail a couple minutes before it actually got here. It was so loud. The lightning and thunder were intense too. It didn't last long, but it was one heck of a storm.

I did that 1 low spot in my pond and regretted it from the beginning ,it is really hard to net out the gunk in that low area with out scraping the sides of it with the pool net .Plus the liner looked bad all crinkled up in there .You may want to rethink that after you try to get the liner in .When I rebuilt my pond the whole thing is 1 level bottom with straight sides .I just wanted to give you heads up on it .Not being critical about it just letting you know what I dealt with .

It's only going to be 6"-8" deeper than my old pond, but more wide open than my last one was, and I had no problem with that one, so I'm not worried about it. I've also got a rounded net that extends to 5' that has nice fabric around the edges so I can go right along the walls without worry. I'm glad you share your thoughts because it can help people from making mistakes. Thats what these forums are for :)

also, it may be hard to tell but just over half of the bottom is only 2', and the far half will be about 3.5
