Yeh when I had to do my pond over it was in between snow and rain .But all the digging out for bigger pond started and in 1 day had it dug and had the new liner in .It was hard work but glad i am getting back together again .I know i will never be finish so it is useless to say that .

This is the first wave, the toads first then the frogs. This is the most I have ever seen. One poor gal had two boys hanging on, one front one back.
A lot of our trees, bushes have not even started to show buds, others in full bud mode.

@addy1 I really love the photo of that puffed up toad!


Here's my pond today...
Hard to see, but 4 hours of sun gave us enough time to pull out the old pond and start digging! Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy all day. Too bad, I think if we had one more full day I could get it in.

At least it is a start .I pulled my liner in the morning and dug the pond bigger and put underlayment and liner in 1 day and it was a long day but I knew there was a snow storm coming and my fish had to be put back in the pond soon

Yes, but I'm ready to get the fish back out, and this is the time of year frogs are looking for new homes...and I am so ready to kick back and enjoy it!



The rain has been holding off so far today. I'd say about 85% digging is done. Still need to make the deep part deep and do some more work on the shelves and edges.
