We are cooling off again, so the pond will ice over where the fish hang out. I may have a while longer before I have to go into total protect mode.

Tested the water today, no filter running, no water changes and the tests are all perfect.......Yippee

lol well I'm done and just finished at 5:00 so not bad .The digging was really easy I have to say .Thank you for trying to help. The soil was nice and soft from the rain so the easy part was digging and the hard part was getting the hose in the darn hole .I would get it in one side put a rock on it and roll the pipe out and then look behind me and the pipe would be rolling back up behind me .It was like a joke .I hope no one was video taping it and wins America's Funniest Home Videos

yeh a thrill a minute and won't do it again either .But I was surprised at how easy it is to install them .Dig a trench from the well and dig a hole for the hydrant pit lay out the hose and start connecting everything and last thing is turn off the electric to the well drain the water and then cut the tubing and connect everything with clamps and heat seal everything turn back on the electric and check for leaks and then back fill everything .so simple and people pay a plumber ha .I'm a women and I can figure it out

yep even have a small piece of him left to keep .To 100 foot rolls of pipe 20.99 3 hydrants 3ft. tall 42.99 3 install kits 19.99 and 3 T fittings about 5 dollars and tape and clamps I already had and heat seal tape 3.99 money saved on plumber and ditch witch rental I'm guessing a couple of hundred dollars .Tractor supply hydrants are cheaper than lowes ones and better made.Time it will save me watering plants priceless .
