well thats it all mixed up,
just under a kilo of ginger (think i should have had more ??)
4 lemons
2 limes
500g clear honey
1.5 kg cane sugar
0.5 kg brewers sugar (dextrose)
0.5 kg light malt extract
cream of tartar
wine yeast (couldnt get brewers yeast figured wine yeast would do fine)
18 ltr spring water
just got to wait 4 weeks now !!! in the meantime i will have to continue buying it from the store, mine should finish at around 7.2 % alcohol by volume, relaxing now with a nice crabbies ginger beer, but after eating the raw ginger earlier i cannot taste the ginger in this beer !! think i may have burned my taste buds out !! lol
