Wow, Addy, so glad our hubby has you and your calm nature, there to keep him feeling secure! What a scare, and so glad it turned out for the best!
I totally agree about neighbors. I don't converse much with my neighbors, mostly because we all pretty much stick to ourselves. BUT, if anything happened to any of them, I would be there in an instant, and I think they know that.

One of my other neighbors noticed our grass was almost a foot high, he asked my dog sitting neighbor what happened. She told him mark was in the hospital, he mowed our front, well side lawn yesterday, the lawn from the house to the street lining the driveway.

The dog sitting neighbors, we help all the time, fixed their washer and dryer, honey rewired the electric when she got a new stove. Hard working couple that has worked to get out of some bad financial difficulties. So anything we can do we do so they don't need to hire someone, and we can do almost everything............lol. We do talk to our neighbors but don't really socialize with them, ie dinners, drinks etc. Mainly because we are sort of loners, not into the back and forth dinner thing, drinks etc.

Looks like we get out of hospital jail on thursday, they say he is recovering wonderfully. Finally get to sleep in my own bed............can't wait.

Addy, just saw this about your hubby. So glad to hear he's doing better. Hospitals are no fun. It will help so much for both of you to be at home.
Thanks priscilla, We can't wait, probably thursday. Then I got to mow.............grass is over a foot tall, growing unreal with the rain and warmth we have had.

My turn to check out at Home Depot when the clerk asked me if I was checking out by phone, I answered no. She then explained that line was for phone checkout only. Phone checkout is for Spanish only speaking Mexican customers who depend on friends or relatives to complete a transaction.

What tha hell! :rage:

I slept in 1 of those reclining chairs in my hubbies room and also on the lounge sofa in the waiting room or there they call it the consult room .Never did get more than an hours sleep at a time since nurses were coming and going .So I know how you feel addy .I know colleen has been in that boat also .You are glad to get home and just relax and not go any where .But remember you will need groceries and you won't want to leave hubby home by himself to long .I left the hospital the day before hubby was released and shopped till i dropped so the day he came home there was nothing to do but stop by the pharmacy .I made a list so I would not forget anything .It takes over half an hour to get from hospital to home .Just make sure you think of your health also addy because you can make your self sick also .That is easier said then done ,I know .;)

So glad to hear that Mark is getting better and able to go home hopefully by Thursday! He's been through a lot in just a few days and bet he will be so glad to get away from there and I know you will be too. Darn grass and weeds should be on hold when we have an emergency like this but nope they grow to the sky and sing catch me if you can laughing in the breeze :sour:

Peonies are so pretty. Why don't I have any of those? They aren't fussy or anything are they?

nope all you need is ants and a little shade .Mine are 9 years old .I don't put them close to the house because if they need ants ,I sure don't want ants in my house .They are out on the hill over looking the road you can smell them before you even get close to them

One of my neighbors said she would shop for us, but I have a good food stock, so we are fine for awhile. I would run home, but it is horrible getting out of baltimore, got lost twice now, even with a gps, ended up in some rough neighborhoods. And it is over an hour drive to get home, so will deal with that later.

The visiting hours here are 24/7 I never need to leave for anything. They have a body length couch right by the window that makes into a narrow bed, not too bad for sleeping. Got sheets, blankie, pillow.......great view of down town baltimore.......life is good!

Peonies are pretty, we just don't have shade for them. We are pretty much sun blasted all day

Wow addy, sorry to read about the health scare you had with your husband. Glad to see he's on the path to recovery.
Good thing for modern medicine.
