I told my favourite Irishman (proprietor of my favourite Irish pub) "Happy Mother's Day" this morning, He replied "I'm not a mother."
I said "I don't believe you're Christ, either, yet you don't object to me telling you 'Merry Christmas'"!

Glad your hubby is OK addy and been there so know the road is hard when a loved one gets sick .You have to cherish each and every day and smile even when you are scared as you don't want to scare them .

no kidding he was hanging on to everything I said since I had worked medical, kept him calm. Things a lot better now, on the road back. Never showed him how absolutely scared I was.

It is and thanks for the well wishes, every hour is one more hour to feeling better. He is tough but this has beaten him up a little, well a lot.
