Those bears are adorable.........one of them sure is a skinny little runt!

Those pebbles are cool! Would be neat indoors in a fish tank too if the fish light would work to illuminate them. Or would be neat in a stream bed all along the whole stream. Geez I could think of all kinds of things to do w/ them that would be fun. Put them in drink glasses for a party..........hope no one swallows any............well they'd be easy to spot if they wander away and get lost, their innards would glow, lol!

As an outsider, I remember all the hooplah after Obama's election and all the great things people thought he would do for the country and thinking, someone's going to be disappointed. After all, the man is only human, yet so many acted as if it were the second coming of Christ! John

Actions speak louder than words.

Only 404 days left to election but the way he is campaigning you would it think it was 40 days away..

I was surprised at how big he was .I only have ever seen the little ones .I now have baby frogs hopping around and they are red or brown and not even half n inch long .I guess this guy has been hiding out in the concrete tub and think I will be taking him for a walk to the creek as soon as I catch the big guy .

I get two varieties of water hyacinth for the garden centre every spring. The regular, which grows to a foot or so in height and has elongated floatation bulbs, and the dwarf or miniature, which has round, golf ball sized floatation as well as very rounded leaves compared to the regular variety. The flowers on the dwarf are a lighter shade of purple, and it doesn't seem to bloom as freely as its larger relative, but it's much better suited to half-barrell or similar sized water features. T-mann, I'm surprised you aren't familiar with it; most of the time it takes five or six years for a new variety to make it to Canada, And may I ask, when did you change your name from Travis to Todd??? John
