those old sewing stands here are really cheap I bought another one 3 weeks ago for 10 dollars at the flea market .Thinking of a fish tank stand out of it ,but not with fish but with plants in the fish tank unless I think of something else . :cheerful: Milk cans with no tops become end tables for my front porch .I store bird seed inside of them and use door seal to seal the top so dampness does not get in .

If I had more work tools I could do more but I have to drive over to my sisters house once in awhile to use her hubbies tools .Shame though that he bought all these nice tools and they sit in the garage unused .Every time I want to use the table saw I have to clean the rust off the top .He has one of those big ones too

Was just trying to see here if I could copy a photo from this new cloud storage thing called SkyDrive. Looks like it works.

I tried to take a look JW but nothing seemed to happen, maybe too many people on the net slowing it down.
Love all your lovely wood art Sissy, you did a great job! You are just awesome at fine wood art!! I like to wood work too, but that is building fences and greenhouses and shelves.

The wood bows my sister and her daughter made .I showed them the pattern and all that you do is wetten the wood with steam and bend it in a form her hubby cut the wood I saw a mirror like it and it was 150 dollars and that was to much for me .Below it sticking up are some of the bamboo I stained and stuck in a basket .My son made the shelf out of all metal .If I fail it is no big lose .The bamboo has to be put on the plywood with small nails and bent and woven and then sprayed with water while it is drying .The one I saw was actually a circle but I wanted a heart shape .
I bet you could make one in the shape of a koi! Wouldn't THAT be neat?

I thought about other things with the bamboo that why I have extra .I can get it for free around here as long as I cut it down myself .Thing is it is not easy to cut and the thicker the harder it is to cut .You need a very sharp fine saw blade and you have to change the blade often .I use a cordless saw .I built the guest house and insulated and dry walled it all by myself not so easy for one person .Would never do it again
