Sissy, are you saying you made the top to that table? Does that mean you painted it as well? OMG, that's beautiful!
KoiGuy, I hope you get your computer fixed soon, or buy yourself a new one. You deserve it! After all, we would really miss you if you go AWOL for a while because of bad computer issues.

Oh man, you made that mirror bamboo thing? Geesh ... I looked at that and thought, "Bet Sissy could make that ... wait, that's really intricate, maybe not." And, yep, you DID make it, huh? I'm super impressed! How about the wood bows, did you make them, too? Love all the wood look in the decorating all around the mirror, very pretty. And, impressed as usual that you made that sewing table, too. You are quite the artist, in addition to craftsman!

The wood bows my sister and her daughter made .I showed them the pattern and all that you do is wetten the wood with steam and bend it in a form her hubby cut the wood I saw a mirror like it and it was 150 dollars and that was to much for me .Below it sticking up are some of the bamboo I stained and stuck in a basket .My son made the shelf out of all metal .If I fail it is no big lose .The bamboo has to be put on the plywood with small nails and bent and woven and then sprayed with water while it is drying .The one I saw was actually a circle but I wanted a heart shape .

Does anyone remember these? This one is older than me. I'll post what it goes on when someone guesses. I love mine, and will treasure it forever!

Do we get a hint?

At first glance I though it was an old fuse but on closer inspection it looks like bath crystals.

Great guesses, but none of them are correct. As a child (less than 4 years old) I remember using this cookie can when our family went to the drive in, Mom made home made popcorn (on the stove, in a pan ... remember doing that???) and filled the can. The knob has crystals in it that absorb moisture from the cookies, or whatever you put in there to keep fresh. You put it in the over to dry out the crystals (they go from white to blue when ready), so I always put it in the oven when I'm baking cookies. This can is over 50 years old, so does that make it an antique?

Sissy neat treasures you have made. I love the idea of taking something old and revamping it into something beautiful. You are creative and talented. :)

I have a few projects waiting in the wings, just haven't made time to work on them. I better get to some of them before spring because I will probably be busy
working on and tweaking the pond!
