Well that explains it LOL ... Go back and "like" Dan's page. He posts a lot of funnies on tthe "doodles" page to share with more than those on his personal friends list ... for the most part, he avoids politics (he is a democrat) but still a great guy!

ok decided to post pics of the food today cheddar cheese biscuits and stuffed shells.UI wanted to also show you how the dummies out on highway 58 cut the trees on one side and the other side with all the branches faces the road .They cut them away from the electrical wires and don't care when snow load or ice causes them to fall on passing vehicles .I took pics if anything happens we all know why .It is like this for about 20 miles and they are not done,I just hope no one does get hurt by a falling tree .I even asked the local paper to post my pics so maybe the electric company would see the mistake .Also I think a mouse chewed my air hose

OMG, Sissy, you need to live closer. I'd die for that supper. Yummy!!!
Yeah, they do that tree trimming around here, but usually trees on the road side of the electric lines are removed for the very reason you mentioned! Looks pretty stupid, if you ask me. I think you are correct, those trees will be lopsided heavy, and a high wind will easily push them over onto the road. Time will tell...

HERE, the electric company is allowed to PROTECT THEIR LINES, period. If there is a branch within 3' of their lines, they can take it off, with no regards to how it looks, the health of the tree, or whose property it is on. The town or state is responsible for the rest of the tree work on public land, depending upon which owns the road...

We get high winds and since most of them are old pines and have the beetle worm in them they are weak to start with I took about 30 pics and close up ones of the rotted trees that are half dead also that they took off one side .I love cheddar biscuits and decided to use sharp cheddar cheese and I used more this time and they are better than ever .Just a drop biscuit receipe and cheese and garlic butter on top after there done but still hot .They did this when I first moved down here and that winter a big magnolia fell on the road and 2 huge pine trees .The state says they have no money ,geeze the only mowed the middle of the road 2 times this year and there are lots of cross overs in the road where when you went to cross over you could not see cars coming the weeds were so high .

Ever since becoming first interested in politics as a teenager I've always had many varied political opinions. Yet as a retired soldier I remain dedicated to the oath I took in 1972.

The President of these United States of America is the Commander-in-Chief of all military forces. If the green light is given I ask that you all understand that our service members are carrying out the lawful orders of their superiors with the ultimate superior being the Commander-in-Chief.

A service member does not have the luxury nor right to consider politics while caring out their duty. Like it or not the military is not a democracy. Our military IS THE protector of democracy.

GOD BLESS AMERICA
