Sissy; we also have iron in our well water. An iron removal unit from Culligan (I think they're in the States too?) removes it nicely!

That is really cool. What the fish see sort of thing.

Had some good news today from a fellow over there that I have a lot of respect for.

30 ppm in clean tap water is very different than 30 ppm in dirty fishwater. You've got to remember that to make 30 ppm nitrates, there's a lot of solid waste, phosphates and microbes etc. that also effect the environment of the fish.

I've pretty well proven that I can point out various contractors shortcomings but I also recognize excellent customer service and workmanship. So for at least once (LOL) here is a copy of an email I just sent to a DirecTV technical services sub contractor
--------------------------------------------------------------
.
Mr. Enrique Abrego, Area Manager, Gustech Communications, Dallas Texas

Mr. Abrego,

My wife and I have been customers of DirecTV (DTV) since 1999. Over time numerous technical advances required changes to equipment and wiring on the exterior of our home in Desoto, Texas. After numerous calls over the years to DTV I finally convinced them that the growing jungle of outdated, excess exterior cabling, miscellaneous devices and a obsolete second sat dish still attached to our two story home must be removed by authorized DTV technicians.

Yesterday, June 13, 2013 was the day that for a time the world seeming stood still. In near 100 degree heat you and Technician Iosolo removed all the unneeded and unsightly material. The pile of removed junk was massive! After all areas were clean and tidy our sat dish and OTA were given a thorough checkup. Then you replaced those dozens of old cables and obsolete equipment were with just a few new cables and one small simple device. I have never seen such perfection and high quality attention to detail in all our years as customers with DirecTV. Several photos are attached.

Mr. Enrique Arego, you personally set the example for all Technical Service Managers to emulate. Thank you sir.

A WOMAN FELL INTO A MYSTERIOUS COMA WHILE GIVING BIRTH.
6 MONTHS LATER SHE AWOKE. SHE ASKED THE DOCTOR ABOUT HER BABY.
HE TOLD HER THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE AND THAT SHE ACTUALLY HAD TWINS.
1 BOY,1 GIRL... AND HER BROTHER NAMED THE CHILDREN.
HER RESPONSE WAS "OH NO, MY BROTHER IS AN IDIOT. WHAT NAMES DID HE GIVE THEM"?
THE DOCTOR REPLIED "YOUR DAUGHTERS NAME IS DENISE"
"OH, I LIKE THAT NAME" SHE EXCLAIMED WITH A SIGH OF RELIEF.
"WHATS MY SON'S NAME"? SHE ASKED.
"DENEPHEW"................LOL
