Not good - my understanding is that Monsanto goes so far as to kill the bees because those that have put the money into genetically modifying food, do not want the bees to cross pollinate the genetically modified plants with the non genetically modified plants. They feel they have the patent rights and don't want any infringement on these rights by the farmers or any thing else.

If I had more land, I would keep bees.

Friends,
My only surviving sibling, my brother George, age 74, has experienced a heart event. Dotors stablized him quickly so no immediate additional traumatic actions were necessary other than to start him on beta blockers. To my amazement he is back home and is to see his personal cardiologist next Monday. George is a retired minister and resides in Alabama with his loving wife.

Your thoughts and prayers on my brothers behalf will be sincerely appreciated.

Lou

Please know your brother and families are in my prayers. My husband has heart problems and is a great deal younger than your brother. It is all scary stuff.

witnessed a live preditor / prey chase thru my yard this morning... a swift fox and a cat.(could be someones pet or ferrel, IDK) i watched them cut thru my neighbors yard from the feild on the otherside of our privacey fence where the creek is. both jump the fence run thru the yard and the cat climb the tree rigt outside the kitchen window. the fox paced in circles for a few minutes then left. while this was happening, i got my camera to take some pics, but the batteries were dead, switched batteries, but by the time i got back to the window they were gone..... the worse part was that (please dont make fun of me) the batteries werent dead. in the excitment, i was pushing the wrong button to turn it on! i'm old enough to join the AARP, but not that old!!!!

We we sitting in the hot tub, watched the Heron fly over, like usual. This time it paused, turned, looked down at our pond.................kept going to its night roost. I have a feeling it will be back.
