I have been using a lawn mower like this for over 20 years on my own lawns .Never ever have I had a tire do that .Before i mow I check air filter, tires ,gas and oil and the belts .
Playing catch up ... so sorry to hear this, hope you mend fast. Shitty neighbors for sure.

Looked into SOLID tires. They may not make them for your machine, but with some research, you should be able to find the same size.

I have a sloped front yard and solid tires would not work on my front yard .I need tires with traction .I called collie equipment about a new lawn mower .I am going to trade in the commercial grade zero turn with the handles for one with a steering wheel .I hate the handles but I need a seat with arm rests also .He said if the lawnmower I pick does not have it he will put it on at no charge since i am such a good customer .Plus i have sent my neighbors to him .

There are a lot a different tread patterns that would work fine on a 50* plus slope. Cant remember how much of a slope you have. Hubby still mows a few yards for regular clients as they cant get anyone willing to mow their hills. Maybe it is just the difference in machines. He is using a diesel Kabota with a 54" or 60" deck (cant remember which). He got tired of playing the BS games and went to solid tires.

Hope your hurts heal up quick sissy and don't give you too much pain. We have 2 Kubota's, on zero turn and mine, just a regular smaller ride on. The zero has the arms and does take a bit of getting used to but we like them both cept mine want stay still when in idle, just keeps creeping ahead on its own. Haven't had any issues w/ tires and I don't do steep hills, leave those for hubby but he does use my smaller mower for those.

Get well soon Colleen and maybe it might be a nice break for you if you go on strike but then the money isn't there anymore or not much if you get strike pay.

HARO is picking on me, called me a space cadet..............................I'll fly him to the moon when I get my license.............he can cut the cheese all he wants up there

New zero turns come with steering wheels if you want it .I will see what he says when he calls me .I am so used to my little red mower that it takes awhile too get used to the bars again .To much trouble to me . Plus the zero turn we have has the really heavy duty deck .It is really sold to landscapers .I just need one that has better traction tires .Once in awhile my red troy built slips and slides .I need a new lawn cart and he said the one has has on sale right now comes with a free lawn cart and a free seeder spreader with the spikes and you can raise or lower the spikes in case you don't need them .Great thing he delivers out here for free .All oil changes and service is free the first 2 years and they come to your house 2 times a year and if you have any problems with the mower you just need to call them .

I want one of the little robot jobs for the front yard but it is not in the picture. Over a dozen dwarf fruit trees in the lawn which makes it hard to mow. I guess it is worth the hassle when we get fruit but most got a frost when they where blooming. Might get some apples.

Not to be arguementative, but no "landscaper" with a reputation would be caught dead with a Troy Bilt. There are so many brands on the market and salesman/manufactures just love to use the word "commercial" ... 99% of the time, it's a SCAM to get too much money out of good people.

Are you still interested in safer tires for your mowing machine that turned over? Could you please provide the name, model number and deck size of that machine?

I like my little red troy built it has been a good friend for to many years.I have a cub cadet
[sharedmedia=core:attachments:46756]the beast can go .The deck is a heavy duty and just to much for me
[sharedmedia=core:attachments:46452]my little love and can't part with my good friend .I don't own a landscaping company and sure don't need a big expensive mower for my 3 acres .All I need is a mower that mows the grass .Not really into name brand stuff especially in a mower .My red one cost me all of 500 dollars new and cart was free
