JW, you did the right thing, stepped in and you were right on the money with everything. I can't believe the bar owner did not come out and take his keys, and call that guy a cab. What an idiot! They are trained that way around here anyhow. They stop serving, too, when the person has had more than his limit, but that doesn't keep them from going around the corner and if they can walk in and not stumble too much, the next place will serve them, too! It's a sad sad thing to be an alcoholic. I drink very little. My daughter had a terrible 4-wheeler accident because of alcohol, rarely has a drink now. More like me, a glass of wine every now and then. My son has never drank. He enlisted in the Army, and was serious about it, so never drank in High School like other teenagers. He didn't want to get in any trouble before he got to the Army. More kids should be like him. LOL The only time I've seen him drink was at his sister's wedding, and he got quite drunk, but always had a smile ... except when he was puking. LOL Then on our cruise in Jan. he drank and got drunk, but I wasn't there. It was a day I was diving with my daughter and cousin. Just heard the funny stories. He's quite a happy drunk, and would NEVER drink and drive.

Folks, this is a backyard picture of the Mayflower, AR oil spill on that Exxon pipeline. The local authorities have denied the press access to these areas so few have actually seen the extent of the spill. This picture was taken by a friend's daughter who lives next door to this house.

Thanks sissy, we will miss them, but they are together somewhere. We will get caught up, just a month or so behind...........lol At least I got our taxes done.

Ugly oil spill KOI Guy, I would probablly go mental on someone if that oil spill happened iny yard, next to my pond! I think I would for sure be more than upset and angry!

Addy it is sure nice to have you back, sorry to hear about the recent deaths on you hubbys side. I would be unable to cope if anything happened to my hubby, cause I just can't imagine a life without him, so sad that they died so close together!

JW you be careful, too many nuts on the loose these days everywhere! I think we all need to to be aware of our surroundings and take protective measures if necessary....

Wow, I cannot imagine having oil like that in my back yard. Why are local officials not allowing press to see the damage? Sounds like local big wigs are in cahoots with Exxon? That's some nasty stuff there.

Not to good night. Had a moderately painful seizure about 8:15. Cathy immediately gave me a Keppra so that helped. Having trouble pronouncing words. I am suppose to politely confront the contractor today. As always all functions should right themselves given time. Really thankful to my sweetie.

Dang, sorry to hear about your seizure, Lou. My brother has been really lucky, the meds he's taking have controlled them for him. Glad your Cathy was there to help you out! Hope you're feeling better soon!
