I ran across the attched article about the use of Sype for counseling. In fact, after completing 18 months of one on one PTSD counseling my therapist has offered to use Skype for me if additional help is ever needed. Please pass the article on to those it may benefit. http://www.foxnews.com/health/2013/02/28/skype-revolutionizing-mental-health-care/

OK, videos like that one, KG, seems to HAVE to be staged.   The best part is that her husband was soooooo patient with her, and she STILL tried to figure it out "half". I loved the last part, "Ok, let's time it!" Kind of like the lady that wanted the deer crossing signs moved so the deer would cross at different places, "not on busy roads".

Addy, I found a vendor on eBay that sells remnants really cheap. I have the link on my big computer, I will post it this weekend if you don't find them. It is a Midwest all purpose pond builder vendor. I have them book marked because I fear the preform at the ag center is leaking. My master plan is to put a liner over the preform, probably about the same as you are planning.

I am going to pull the preform, make it into a vermicompost bin. Get some good worm casting from it. Just line the hole with the liner. If you cover your preform with liner, make sure you put some good holes in the bottom so water can't collect between the liner and the preform. (remember the liner might plug any crack you have then if water gets between the two the liner will float up until the leak is uncovered again)

That would be great, I need just a remnant, I need to go out and measure the size, it is not real big, I might make it a little bigger, if I feel like digging, since It will be by hand. Can't get the tractor in there anymore. I think it would not be too hard digging since I have stirred that dirt a few times, broken up the rock layers.

I want to thank the moderators for putting our "who liked us" info back on our pages! Woohoo, I'm loving it. Laughed at the "waiting" picture, JW. Priceless, especially for what Lou is going through. Hoping your landscape contractor gets there soon to begin his work, Lou!

So this is the page where I can SCREAM! ??

So we live in a small story and a half home and are about to undergo a second floor addition. We are not expanding the brick footprint out, just going up. Some of the red tape we have to deal with before we get a building permit is dealing with forestry. We will need to put a large deposit down with the City to guarantee the safety of the trees on the property. I understand the need as there are many idiots that would just chop down the trees on the lot; HOWEVER we bought the house because it had big trees, and if a construction worker were to even break a branch they would be dealing with ME! Fine rules are rules I understand that. So the builder forgets to send me the forestry report that states a fence will need to be put up to keep the construction away from the trees. A fence is normal, the tree out front of the house will have a fence constructed around it (they told me that). They failed to mention the trees in the far back of the yard will need to be segregated as well. Well yesterday afternoon I get a call at work from my neighbour telling me some guy just fell through the ice in pond while constructing a fence. The dummy built a 2x4 frame with chipboard straight across the middle of the pond! As soon as the snow melts this thing will be floating in my pond. They told me they did not drive any stakes down, I sure hope they are right. I have the bubbler just on the other side and there was a good 20 inch opening, so it was pretty obvious there was water there. Regardless the builder met the other side of me on the phone that he had not met before.
Construction update...

Due to the fact we are going to be above freezing for the next several days, the builder has come today to move that fence off the pond. They are putting it up on the edge of the deck. I sent a harsh email, right up to the owner of the company blasting them for what they had done.

My honey's dad is going into hospice care today, he starting failing rapidly after his wife passed. I know it happens to all of us, our pets, everything living. So hard on my dear husband. I think he decided not to go on without her.
