The bakery where I work at still makes hundreds of loafs of fresh bread, most all from scratch. Some bakerys are baking bread from frozen dough and not fresh dough, so that may make it "crappy". But at the Real Canadian Superstore bakery, we still make the white and the whole wheat bread from scratch, and you can't beat the taste, its hard to go back to "commercial bread" after that. I love my job, happy to work there and like all my "bakery buddies". :)

Good for you Colleen! You know what the say, Once you've had whole wheat bread you never go back! You should get a raise for being such a nice person. You tell your boss. :)

The best is whole wheat made fresh and add honey to it while baking .I love my bread machine but now this double oven does a better job .I love the smaller top oven for bread .Add finely chopped spinach to it and even better .

My brother organized a "Flash Mob" at Pikes Place Market in Seattle, WA today! As soon as they get the video completed, I'll post it. Good grief, do you think I would have mentioned this so JW could have gone to watch? Ugh ...oh well, it was a rainy day, so this will be far better, to see the end result, and the video of the music and dance! I can't wait to see it! I had never heard of a "Flash Mob". The part my brother posted so far is just the beginning of it, with the "Freeze" part, where the "extras" were walking around the market, and went into "freeze" mode. Soon the dancers will mingle in and begin their dance, and then everyone that was "froze" joins in. At least that's how I think it went. This was on my brother's "bucket list" to participate in a Flash Mob, so he organized this one that happened today. It went from start to finish in about a month, so that's pretty impressive in itself! Anyhow, once he posts the video, and I figure out the YouTube link, I'll post it here! It was for "Kindness Day".

If anyone is having problems with avatars not updating, try pressing CTRL + F5. Normally when you refresh a page (eg by pressing F5 as a shortcut) then it uses partly info from the website and partly items in your cache, such as pictures - it does this to reduce loading times. However if you press CTRL + F5 then it doesn't use items in your cache, it uses the live information from the website.

Hope this helps!

Here's the FreezeMob/FlashMob that my brother, Brian Krueger, put together in Seattle, WA yesterday. It's pretty amazing to say the least! I had no idea what a FlashMob was until he told all of us he was putting one together for his "bucket list" being a participant. My brother is one of the first that you see in the video, walking around with a bunch of flowers, followed by his beautiful wife with an umbrella. In the FreezeMob part, he is on one knee, holding out the flowers to his wife, with a big smile on both of their faces. The first 4 dancers to come in after the music started are professional, the rest are like you and me. All you had to do was learn the routine, which was provided on-line and then you went to the rehearsal! Pretty cool, huh?!!!

How did her interview go, Lou? And, if she lived in IL, she could get up to 2 years of unemployment before it totally ran out. Hopefully she will have at least that income for the next couple of years as she searches for a comparable job! Good luck to her!!! Make her last day a wonderful day for HER!
