I can't change my avatar! I've tried everything yet nothing works. This isn't rocket science. I use Firefox. HELP!

check the size of your pictures, I use firefox too, the av's are touchy about size, what the forum software will accept.

just looked this forum says they suggest a photo 200px or larger, then you can crop it to the size you want.

Just tried again. I reduced the jpg file from 768 to 208. Shows as changed until I come back to the forum. e8&**^^%*(

Sometimes it takes a couple of hours for it to change .

A avatar sixe (If memory serves) should be 100 X 100 pixals unless this forum allows more/bigger pics
It should size allowment where you load it,
I use firefox also and did not have a problem.

Now this is crazy! The new image shows up on my iPad but not my PC. The new image shows me only with a black hat. The previous image was of me and Cathy. Which do yo see? Btw, I'm on my iPad right now. Since this is an iPad 1 I have to load all images from my PC.

Well I see a man in a black hat with a beard.

You might need to refresh you page on the PC so that it updates
or log out of the forum and log back in.

Ok " L" I was seeing you w/ wifey and they I clicked refresh and it shows you w/ the hat now.........cool picture. Here is my black hat picture :razz: I used to put different hats on to spook the dog........I'd go in the closet and come out w/ a different one on and he'd bark his fool head off till I'd take it off...........silly dog! We should have a hat day avatar :bdaybiggrin:
