First time I ever heard anything about it. I think he's really smart and has lots of money but he's rather goofy also. So guess I think he's a goofy, smart guy w/ lots of cash. I'm not really in favor of someone tearing up the earth for a game of golf. Also not in favor of the way those Alaska gold rush people tear up so much of the land over there looking for a few ounces of gold! If it's something we need to stay alive and survive on and I believe oil is one of those things right now that we do really need then some digging is going to be required. We as humans are important too in the scheme of things not just animals and vegetation alone. W/o oil right now in our country we can't survive comfortably. We don't have enough ability it seems right now or the cash to afford the modern energy efficient kinds of power for every person. And that's just my 2 cents worth.

I just liked him cause he can be entertaining, shoots his mouth off and stirs things up, and tried to run for President of the states, and hounded Obama for his birth certificate. Then there was that TV show he had, " the Apprentice". I figured if he did get to be President, he might be good for"kick starting" the economy as he was himself bankrupt after his divorce from "Ivana", and saved himself back them.

YEs he is a mouthy SOB, but money/fame does that to some people. Friendly warning for your Scot friends Mogsie. If you go against him, you don't just lose, you get crushed! Maybe that's why we hear very little in way of negative interactions with him. Just wondering when is enough with him? Never I guess, as he needs to go to Europe now.

Dear Mrs Hatter :razz: you have some history incorrect. He didn't go bankrupt after the divorce, it was the economy in the 80's. But his name and rep and smart deals got him back on track. Listed at 6 billion now! Ivana got only $14 mil, but she's smart also and turned that 14 into 50 mil.
