Are you serious, Sissy? They didn't pay you mileage? I will get paid mileage, they asked how many miles to get there. Not sure if they pay one-way or both ways, though. Plus I think they pay an extra $15 or something like that per day. If my job didn't pay me for the time off, like most businesses would NOT, that would really hurt! Come on, you're supposed to live on $15 a day for 4 days? Most people would have to take a vacation day, and why burn a vacation day for something you don't choose to do? But, it's your "duty" as a citizen. I'm just not the majority, I wanted to serve, but I probably will never get to. I work for an attorney, and we work for the State, both of those are strikes against me ever being called to actually sit on a jury. Oh well, it still was fun.
Your lighthouse is looking fantastic, Sissy! And, OMG, how adorable is little Peewee?! Does he keep the sweater on all the time, or just when you take him outside? I always wondered about that! Seems like a hassle to put it on and off every time they want to go outside to potty. My sister used to put these little booties on her cocker when she went outside on snowy days. "She loves them!" Um ... no she didn't ... she walked really funny, I'm sure they were not comfy for her at all, but her owner sure liked them. :)

Speak of the devil.... everyone's discussing jury duty, and guess what's in my mail today. A notice that I've been chosen for potential jury duty! Could you all please talk about winning a lottery???

OH, my, I'm out of likes for the day! LOL It says, "Error has occurred. You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day." Haha, John, this is too funny! Good luck, and keep us posted if you get to sit on a jury, cause it sounds like you DON'T want to! And, if that would work, yes, let's all talk about winning the lottery! I have never played myself, so someone would have to teach me how.

lol have a good time Haro! I was called once, many many years ago, dog bite case. They did question me, I said if the dog bit the person they probably deserved it! Sigh they kicked me off lol.

Well I will talk about winning the lottery then and hope every one here will win something then .Yep as soon as it gets chilly pee wee wants his sweater on to keep that little plump body warm .He is in a medium size sweater now because of the extra love handles .Yep we get those kind of frogs too .And heard that jury duty here in VA only gives you 20 dollars and free parking that is it .My neighbor had to go about 2 months ago

Addy, that baby frog is sooooo cute! Loved that you put a quarter next to him to show us the size. I don't have any of the cute tree frogs, the ones with suction cup on their feet around me, or if I do, I've never seen them to photograph them. Thinking they need more trees, which I don't have many, and then a mile before the next tree! Thanks for sharing pic.

They live in our woods, usually don't see them around the ponds except at breeding time. I was surprised when this little one landed on the floor.

Probably trying to stay warm. When I was at my sisters this summer, she lives in WI, they had a pair of the green ones with the suction cup feet that stayed under their hot tub cover, out of the water, on the edge inside. Got some really cute shots of them! Then there were several on their window well screen that were also tree frogs, but more brown. I just never see them around here. But, as I said, I have the only trees within a mile, and that totals 4 soft maples scattered on my 6 acres, and 2 large elm. I've planted more, but they are small still. So, maybe someday .... :)
