Yeah like the stink bugs, they have not been bad this year, but now trying their best to get into the house, for their winter quarters. I have sprayed all openings so if they make it in they will die.

The one thing people forget is there vents and vent pipes .I have elbow pipes on my vent pipes with screening set into them and with the house vents up near the roof I put screening on them .My neighbor last year learned the hard way with her plumbing vent pipes coming out the roof stink bugs clogged 2 of them .I spray foamed all other openings even the smallest ones so bees and lady bugs and stink bugs can not get in

They try to get into our chimney but it is screened well, I need to check the vent pipes, I think they are screened but not sure right now. Thanks for the heads up sissy

John, I believe you! I think we all need to buy a lottery ticket this week, even if we never buy one (like me) and see if we win anything!
I have not yet seen one of those Asian beetles, that look like overgrown lady bugs. They stink really bad, not sure if that's what you're calling a stink bug, though, Sissy. I also spray Home Defense around my windows and doors inside the house, and all over in the basement to kill any spiders or bugs that get into my house. So far, not had any bug problems this year, usually have those teeny tiny bugs that can fit through the screens at my reading light, but maybe I've not had my windows open enough this year.

OH, you mean REAL stink bugs then! I never have many of them around here, and when I do find one, it's on accident and I realize it when I smell it. P.U.!!! People around here call those Asian beetles stink bugs, so I get confused what people are talking about. Thanks for the clarification, Addy!

they stink worse then the US stink bugs, this time of year all they want is in your house. You can smell them outside. horrible. I spray everything so they die if they do make it in the house. They hang out on your windows, walls, and can squeeze in through a door pushing though they flatten their bodies. So I spray everywhere they might make it in with a spray that kills for months, if they touch it they die. Then you need to clean up dead bodies.

Yes, but cleaning or vacuuming up the dead bugs is not near as bad as vacuuming up the live ones! Yuck, that sure stinks. I've never had to do that, but was at friend's house when she was vacuuming them up. Asked her what she did with the bag of bugs. "Dump them out outside." Well, don't you think they will come right back inside? :) I told her about the spray I used, and that helped her immensely! Doesn't smell, can be in the house while spraying it, and works for months. I spray spring and fall inside, and outside if I get any type of bugs that are like you said, hovering around the doors waiting to get in or squeezing in even when doors and windows are shut!

I bought it off the internet, no smell and sure works good. They touch it and they die. Even dead they stink up the vac, so I sweep them up and right into a plastic bag. We put up new siding, I sprayed the walls before we installed the siding with some of the stuff, they love to winter under it, now they will just die.

Stink bugs need heat for there bodies and they are headed south for the winter .I use all the organic bug killers and they work better and cost more but at least no toxic fumes around .
