yeh my neighbor got a lock out here .Sheriff came to serve the foreclosure and no one was home and they put bolts on the doors and tape and the red poster that says foreclosure on it and now the people have to call the sheriff to get there stuff out .He has to be present as a lot of them strip the houses of everything .We had one down the road a couple of months ago and the took everything including the windows and doors .Could not believe how they stripped the house .It looks like someone is building the house and need to finish .It sold for 8 thousand on 5 acres at auction .The new people have really fixed it up .

Ya is never good when people lose there homes, its quite sad and lots of good people with young familys are struggling out there right now. I think sometimes live in general can be a struggle, lots of people I know are struggling and sometimes I don't know how young people can even afford to raise a family these days, I am thankful Poppy does not have to go to college or need much, just me to love!

I sometimes wonder also and it seems that credit cards and the I want list or gotta have list is to much for young people and they buy and buy .I know what I can spend and try to find the best bargain out there .Both houses I owned before this one were fixer uppers and I kept a budget in mind for them too .I really like to bargain hunt and trash hunt .Most things people see as garbage I see as something I can remake .I used to love it NJ when they had spring clean up week .I got some really nice things from peoples throw outs .My sons enjoyed the hunt as much as me .They would get so excited about the things they found that you would think it was christmas .

KoiGuy, does that me they need a "tuit" button, too? My Mom made one for my dad one birthday of hers! It was a large round disc, with the letters TUIT on it .... think about it ... round ... tuit .... yep, my Dad was forever saying, "I'll get done soon as I get around to it" ....

Be careful sissy remember your last run in w/a snake on your mower! I think they do eat frogs. Wonder if they eat fish?

Yep, they definitely eat frogs, Sissy. They are great for eating mice and rats, but if you don't have a problem with that, black snakes get very large very fast. I have a favorite picture of my son at about age 4 or 5, laying on the ground, with a black snake stretched out next to him to show how big it was. I sure don't remember killing it, as I like snakes, but I can't imagine him laying there next to the snake if it was alive! That was when I lived in the woods, and we had mice in the barn, so any black snakes were steered toward the barn. :)

Thats what I was worried about if he has eaten all the lizards and frogs are my fish next .I was wondering why I don' t here frogs and used to see lots of lizards and no only a baby one that seems to hang out near the front porch .I wish i had my camera when I saw it ,I could not believe how big it was .I don't think i could have gotten my hand around his middle and he looked to be around 5 feet long and knew I could not shoot him where he was because of the pond .I came in to get the gun and went out and he was gone and did not see him any where in the yard either .I did have snake away and poured it all around the pond and now worry he could have went into the basement since the door was open .
