did anyone see the story on the Frank Lloyd Wright home could be torn down in Arizona if a buyer does not save it .Funny thing is it was built by his son and a developer wants to tear it down ,huh when foreclosures are so high in Arizona

The number of homes for sale has dropped, i.e. there is a "need" for ones to sale. But in certain neighborhoods foreclosures are still 60% if not higher. So they are now building new developments to sale. My az home is still being slammed in value due to foreclosures, in our neighborhood, we will be hanging onto that house for quite a while longer.

Things are tough all over these days. They build a condo in the next street over about four years ago, was supposed to be sold but no one would buy them, so the bank took over and now their being rented. Similar stories all over town. Wonder if things are ever going to get better! All I can say is thank goodness I didn't get that moving bug a few years back when everyone I new was flipping their house, lots are sad now! My house may be old and small but at least it's paid for and no ones going to foreclose this home!

Foreclosures here are up and you can get a house on almost an acre for less than 10 thousand dollars .I bought the house in Pittsville almost 12 acres for 27 thousand total .

very true and with no jobs .I know when I retired i decided what i wanted to spend on my new house and was the GC (general contractor ) and I kept this sucker under budget no matter what .I wanted to be under a hundred thousand and came in at 89 thousand for 2440 sq.ft. and the basement which I knocked 5 thousand off that i gave the guy a time line and he kept messing that up so ended up fining him 5 thousand for not starting on time and not finishing on time .Hey I hire you do your job is my motto and told him from the beginning .I want what i want and no if's and's or buts .I paid cash so I would have no loan and did not want one .The other house I bought and the people are paying me back the loan interest free . They had horses so needed land
