People can take some amusing photos of cops chasing animals! They typically have no idea how to catch animals, just know how to chase them around. LOL How about the photo of the police car chasing a Krispy Kreme donut truck. :)

OK, since this is the Good Banter Thread, and pretty much anything goes, thought I would share this picture I took yesterday of a baby mini donkey. I've been watching for the mama jenny to have her baby for a month now. The baby was born I think on the weekend. I drive by the house and barns on my way to work, so stopped after work yesterday, but the mom was intent on keeping as much distance between me and her newborn as possible. It was like going to the far side of the pasture was not good enough, if she saw me looking, she had to move the other direction. Kind of funny. Very protective mom, and that's a good thing.

I'm really sorry, but the picture was taken with my cell phone, so it won't enlarge when you click on it. This little tyke has a fluff of hair on his/her forehead that has to be at least 4-5" long. Now, when you figure his whole head is maybe 8" long total, .... it just looked sooo adorable, all that hair sticking out. The owner also has a gray jennny bred to his white and gray jack, but I've not seen that jenny lately. Hoping he still has her. Love watching the babies romp and this little one was no exception. Enjoy!

Yes, they do grow up, and all baby animals are cute, I guess, but just could not resist posting this pic. I've always loved mini donkeys, maybe someday I will get one. But if this little tot stays as frisky and wild as it was Monday, I'll not be interested. But, the baby born on this farm either last year or the year before, was like a dog, LOVED to be petted. That's what I would want, one that is like a pet. That same mama is hopefully also going to have a baby this spring. They are not good for much of anything, just as a pet, but don't eat that much either. We shall see ....

I would love to have some goats, chickens etc, even those lil donkeys. But we travel so much it would be unfair to the neighbors to have to take care of the critters, every time we leave.
