Dogs take care of each other. My cat, Tarzan, who thinks he is a dog, lets the dogs take care of him, too! If he's outside, Denali (the Boston) will whine at the door when he wants to come inside! She is the official "door bell" for everyone. Sometimes I look at her and want to say "you just went out/in" but then I notice that someone else is at the door wanting to come in. Tarzan meows at the door. If I don't get up right away, he comes to me and meows. I ask him if he wants to go outside, and he jumps down and runs to the door. How's that for a cat that acts like a dog. LOL
Cute that King Arthur knew where to find poor little Pee Wee. They are great pals, too!

There is a huge black lab type dog that wanders the neighborhood, always with a brown tabby cat. They play and follow each other. I see them in our woods wandering around. If one runs the other runs.

Aw, that's neat! My cat plays by himself when he's outside. He likes to think he's going to catch a bird. LOL Seeing a dog and cat running together is sweet. Labs and Goldens and Collies are all breeds that typically get along very well with cats.

Cute pix and love all the critter chat stories. Couldn't find one of my cats tonight. Thought I heard a faint distant meow. Told hubby I can't find her and it was pouring outside. He said "Oh maybe I locked her in the shed when I went outside" and yep she was in there hollering to be let out. Thought maybe a coyote got her but happy she is safe now!

Poor kitty locked away and no way to get out .Pets give unconditional love and help lower your blood pressure .They rule our lives .Sometimes I think they are smarter than we are ,considering how they boss us around .

My black cat, Tarzan, loves to go outside. Last night, at about 9, very dark outside, Boston was at back door whining. Went to let her out, she was only whining to let Tarzan IN! He was at the door and I could not see him because didn't remember he was outside, so the light was off. Good Denali! LOL she whines to let everyone in and out.

cats can be real personalities, i know with my margery, sun was shining yesterday so i decided to dredge out some of the crap from the bottom of the pond and with every net full of crap there was 1 or 2 little fish ! didnt realise there was so many still in the pond, been hiding well, havent been online much recently, mirka has had me re-doing the bathroom, i have baught these large polished granite tiles, they are 600mm square and 10 mm thick so quite heavy, they have a engineered cut edge so ime sitting them so tightly kissed together it looks seemless like a full granite wall, god every tile has to be perfect to the fraction of a mm !! wish i had just gone with normal tiles now !!

Did you save all the little fishies, Mogsie, or did your cat play with them first? That granite sounds beautiful! You'll need to post pics, you know, now that you told us about it!

I have done stone floors like that, Mogsie, it is called rectified, they now makes tiles that can be laid without grout. They do need to be perfectly laid. The bigger the tile the hard it is to do, but it sure is beautiful when done.

yes addy these dont have any grout, all the little fishies are still happily in the pond

I love stone and tile floors, hate grout, that stuff is so hard to keep clean.
I just did a bathroom in florida, walls, shower, floor with a small grout line, the tile was not rectified, but used the epoxy grout, nothing will penetrate that stuff. But what a pain to apply. You need two people one to put on one to wipe off it sets so fast.
