The Kwanzan Cherry Tree came out blooming this week. This time of the evening is nice with the sun off the bog and stream. A lot of planting still to be done and work on the edging. But pretty happy so far.

Hurts like hell to admit it doesn't look half bad.......
God that must have killed you, lol. Was thinking of you a couple of weeks ago as we were driving through quite a bit of CT, doing college tours for daughter (Wesleyan, Vassar, Marist, Connecticut College)

Glad your not looking at Yale they too have lost their minds lately, and I did a ton of work there years past. It boggles my mind those folks / professors i knew were ivy league .

Finally starting to warm up here. Been a good year for the small Wisteria tree and the Wisteria vine by the barn. Work on the pond has been going well. Working on the edging, rock work, etc. Lots of planting. The past week the string algae disappeared from the bog and stream, combination of the shade (the large maple has leafed out) and plants growing in.

That's lovely! The wisteria in front of the pond is really nicely pruned too.

Thank you. Its a little different to have a wisteria tree, you have to supports for it.
My first koi arrived today, very exciting.
Hope you and your family are doing ok over there, I was getting a little nervous that you had not posted in awhile (dont worry, not all of us are protesting over here, lol).

Got to build a trellis my good man Nothing and I mean NOTHING can top a wisteria hanging from a trellis or pergola over water or the appearance of so ... OK so lemons come pretty close.
