Not that I know of .They have the whole legend of them on the internet but there are stones found in other areas that look like people and some call them fairy stones .I have heard some people say they found them other places .Not sure on those stories

I see what ponddigger has been saying now about ponds and waterfalls ,that are not done right .They put rocks around the pond and around the water fall but never add rocks into the landscape part of the pond .Mine is far from natural but I saw one this morning that a neighbor just did .He has rocks he has plants in and around the rocks but it just does not look right. The rocks look placed and not like mother nature intended .I did mention it as we were talking and that is when he realized why he could not figure out what was wrong with the pond.He told me he wanted it to look natural and that is when he realized it did not look natural .He asked me for help so he got my honest opinion .He was up here to ask me where to get fish and since the pond is brand new as of a couple of days ago ,I told him he should wait and how long and what he needed to buy next .Now he is moving rocks and ordering some bigger rocks to put around the area .He also wanted my help in building a bridge over his stream ,he of course mentioned that last .He did do a great job and he admitted that he did come up to my house to look at my pond and my filters .He said no one answered the door so he took a look .

I put rocks everywhere, here and there on the hill, it does help it blend in.

Nice of you to help him.

I have to ask has anyone ever heard of putting lead weights on plants in a pond that need weighed down .He ordered pond plants and they sent him lead weights .I know for a fact lead is bad for humans but in a pond I just could not see it .I forget who he ordered them from but I told him no way would I handle or use lead in my pond .They were long strips and it said they should be wrapped around the base of the plant just above the roots and dropped into the pond and they will sink to the bottom .Crazy to me .They were for the submerged plants he ordered .Plus you have benches addy and I told him he could include things like that and other things

I used to see lead weights all the time for my freshwater aquarium plants, but now all I see are small ceramic pots that the plants come in.
I would use something else other than lead if you can.
At a PH below 7 the lead will start to dissolve and enter the water column. It is not healthy.
Lead weights are still available, but people are starting to move away from them.

Thanks I know lead is dangerous to humans so how could it be safe for fish and also we put our hands and sometimes bodies in that water so to me it just sounded bad .

I did worry about the lead, too, but figured it must be safe since people have used them for years in aquariums. But here's what I found with the lead weights - to do any good you have to squeeze them pretty tight on end of the plants. The ends of the plants end up rotting and then the plants just float away. Another place told me to use a rock and a rubber band - same result. Maybe I'm a dunce, but I'm going to try some small pots this year tucked between the rocks deep in the pond. We'll see what happens!

I have seen over the years what lead poisoning can do .Even the builders stay away from lead flashing as much as they can .Well tried the aerator but i cannot get it to sit flat on the bottom of the pond .I think the rock inside goes to one side .I am thinking of putting a flat piece under it and attaching it some how .I thought of one of those small dollar store crates and zip tie it to it .It does make a lot of bubbles

I left my Banana stalks up about 6ft, didn't cut them to the ground and now they are sprouting out the tops of those 6ft stalks. Boy they are gonna be tall this year! Guess they didn't freeze to the bottom this year as we had such a mild winter.
