Wow what a blessing! I’ve always operated under the theory that it sure can’t hurt to ask. We had an old air conditioner and a refrigerator we needed to get rid of one time. Trash would not take it. Cost to haul it away was ridiculous. Asked a couple guys we had here doing some landscaping. They happily hauled both away.

He is also going to walk around and clean up debris dear hubby stuck here and there. He is bringing a big hold everything type truck.

I am so so so happy!

I have gifted him a working old fridge, washer, dryer, scaffolding, hitch stuff, a bunch of electri bikes dear hubby took apart to make faster, some antique stuff, old bottles, etc etc. Not in the try to sale mode.

The vehicles removals have not been easy.

He told me today, anything I need he will help.

Oh one van left near the house, (used to store bee stuff in) front end sank deep into a gopher hole. That will be a tricky removal, slope, no clear path, he and friend making plans on how to get it.

Need to take a picture of where it is, bad lol

Only way out is to the left slope on a steep hill. Behind slope, narrow.

Me too!

Tub planted, prob could have planted less, but oh well, big beautiful tubers hard to toss. Softie!

Will fertilize in the spring.

Tub now full, water flow off, wait and see if it stays that way.

Beyond exhausted, one more hard day then doing nothing for awhile.

Nothing feels better to me than the tired you feel after good hard work. I’m worn out from my job every day, but not tired, if you know what I mean. If I can come home from 8 hours at a desk and work another 4 or 5 outside - THEN I’m tired! And happy!

Can’t wait to see this tub full of beauties in full bloom @addy1 !

Stupid, dumb thing...... not the words I used this am.

Tested with water, no leak, sealed the drain, no leak. Put litter and lotus in, filled with water....down 8 inches by am.

Put more water in, now not leaking again.

But bought a new tank, more litter coming, putting new tank in old tank, make a base under for support with litter.

No easy way to remove two walls of the tank is the support for two different small ponds in the loop.

Job tomorrow. Today miserable hot and supplies not here yet.

Ok all you brilliant ponders, why?

Pond full holding water, could the 400 lbs of litter still been sucking up water even though it was fine until over night? when it loss about 8 inches of water.

Filled this am still full.

Have a tub coming have litter coming, what to do? Just suck it up and double put new in old and say DONE.

Will need to work on in the spring, water pass through, fix liners between ponds etc in the spring

Or leave be and have ANOTHER lotus or lily pond.....

Decisions , maybe in the am water will drop. Maybe not

My brain tired

Play with the dogs, relax, have a meal and tackle it in the morning.

I've been considering a second lotus tub, but seeing how hard it is to thin them down I may just stick with one. And mine is teensy compared to yours. I want to create less work for myself not more.
