I am beyond thrilled that someone besides myself admits to posing the toads for pictures.

Sometimes I find them in my grass, and it'd be a bad photo with a bunch of grass in the way, so if there's a log or rock nearby, its easy to get a clear view with them on it. I do the same with salamanders.

Here's a first. They always nest in the trees around my yard but never on the garage lights.

I'd never get my terrestrial salamanders to cooperate, but I did manage to get this newt to sit on my hand long enough for a photo or two -

I've also had some cooperative tree frogs in past years, but they're a very rare sighting. Hear them all the time, but almost never can track them down!

The Barred Owlets are growing up quick but they still ask their parents for food and are still learning how to be owls. It's been hot here the last few days so they've been enjoying the water. This is one of the adults cooling off yesterday...https://photos.app.goo.gl/K542VWV3DpFuRPhe9

I was inside the other day when I realized there was a pool party happening. Next time I'll try to find a clean window to take pictures through...

In this one I had my hoe leaning up in the garden and that little owlet gave it a stern talking to...https://photos.app.goo.gl/aMEgou69LKSCkg8e7

This shows one of the parents delivering a mid morning snack...https://photos.app.goo.gl/fHPfkU4dGsSkW1Et8

I'll freely admit that I am completely bewitched by these guys, so forgive my enthusiasm. I hope you enjoy seeing the videos.
