How neat Colleen! What is it? Looks like some kind of fish or a newt or ? Hard to tell by the picture.

Today was very very hot, over 100 with the "humidex"! Pond water flowing well, good circulation is necessary during the extreme heat that's for sure!! Fish were splashing quite a bit and were following me around the pond begging for food constantly! Hornwort growing really fast now in the bottom pond with smaller goldfish and babies. :)

Not hot here today, only 54F right now and hazy again! Darn smoke from China! Supposed to get to 74 today but don't know if the sun will ever peek through the haze. Pretty pix Colleen of your fish and flower. 100 would not be acceptable here thank you very much!
My fish were spawning again yesterday.

We hardly ever get above the 80's here Colleen. Once in a great while we might get in the 90's and I remember once it hit 100F while we were away at the ocean where it was in the 60's. Came home to our hood and all the neighbors were complaining how hot it had been.
It all has to do w/ offshore flow, thermal troughs and marine push and don't ask me to explain it. If you really want to know more have fun reading all this info: http://www.komonews.com/weather/faq/4308492.html

Sounds nice there JW, cool ocean breeze, lots of rain, nice cool tempertures :) Must be a nice community, I'm picturing it in my head, nice vacation by the cool ocean breeze, lots of very green trees and lush green shrubs and grass....

My "Sumpkin", could be a Pumpkin, not sure about the seed, could be a squash or something "else", is growing like crazy in this hot humid weather, gave it a good soaking too, then some tiny little cloud that didn't look like much, blue sky all around, so small I had to look between my trees to see it, dumped a hole lot of rain here, for several city blocks, them nothing! Weird I'd say! Thought how nice, it would cool off, the air was dripping with humidity tonight. Going to get pictures of the Sumpkin tomorrow... :) :)
