Nice video on how those filters work and cleaning them. Where did you find that T? Thanks for sharing.
I found it at my local pet store "Animal World" and my friend who owns that store has all kinds of pipe fittings. It is not a perfect fit but works really good and easy to pull heavy filters apart and lift out of pond. If I were to lift all four heavy filters it would be really heavy but they pull apart pretty easy so I can lift two at a time instead. You will have to take the filter apart and look around one of your hardware stores or pet shop.

Oh so the T is a clip in pop off type instead of screw on?
Its a three way plastic pipe fitting of some kind. It just sort of pops on and off. I don't think it was supposed to fit that but it seems to work good cause its sucking thew the pump so it holds. I will ask my friend at animal world. I think it was a Laguna part...

Welcome to Spring finally @callingcolleen1
We are also having nicer weather now and I'm sure we will be sending more your way. Your pond looks nice and clear and fish are all moving around good. Keep that darn bird away! Enjoy your days off!

I'd be tempted to just leave the panels up, they don't look much different then a wide weave net IMO.
I like to hang sparking things up high on strings and it works well at keeping blue heron away. I have plan to put those pannels up in garden and let tomatos and squashes crawl all over them...

I got three new baby Koi today. They are VERY Small, like the size of a minnow. Will try to get a picture tomorrow. They have nice color combinations. We shall see if they grow up with the same colors...

I put them in bottom pond as they are smaller than the goldfish right now. Sun just coming up so when its bright out I will get pictures.
My koi obviously don't ask permission to spawn, as ChaCha is being chased around the pond this morning ! I'd carefully noted when they spawned last year, so I could make DIY spawning mats from yarn, in hopes of cutting down the surviving fry........oh well, love is in the air !

My koi spawn all the time like the goldfish but most fry get all eatten by all the Dragon fly Nymphs in my ponds. I just leave them as them so I don't get tons of fish. The first few years I used to get lots of babies but now the dragonfly nymphs everywhere.
