I think that old metal gazebo is just to die for! It looks like it was made to fit over that pond. How lucky did you get? I should'a done that w/my pond instead of the old metal fence posts. Could have put my big net over the top of it. Oh well maybe next time :)

What a great idea. Fits in nice there. You must not get too much wind there colleen. If I tried to hang stuff up like you do it would be blowing all over the place.

Hubby just loves the look and really pictures don't do it justice. It's totally awesome and stylish. I just lucked out with the fit too!

People often ask me about wind. I am in a more sheltered area and wind not usually any big problem. There is two big hills by my house and wind goes over tree tops and makes howling sounds when very windy. I actually like to sit in my very sheltered greenhouse during extreme wind storms and listen to the trees creak and howl like crazy. Greenhouse never affected by wind ever, it's close to house and built rough.

Finally just finished new gazebo. Took all day yesterday and after dog park walk I continued to work till past 11:30pm. Got 5he curtains on backwards, but fixed them proper in morning light.

This new gazebo comes with curtains and rods on all four sides plus screen curtains and separate rods on inside. Plus roof has 6 inch overhang so water from rain does not get inside or soak the curtains liked old gazebo. Old Gazebo only came with one wall over for wind and screen. Plus it was Last year's stock so it was half pricec too!
Thanks everybody for watching my videos as that paid for it as well .

I bought that chair couple years back at JYSK for horrible amount of money ($350. Canadian) but it Is so nice to relax and swing. I take good care of it and cover it in gazebo all year.
