You ave to watch children also because I got a really bad rash from Patty's by her sidewalk ,it was like having poison ivy .Her hubby yanked them out after that because he was afraid the children may get the same .I don't even remember rubbing against them .But I get poison ivy by just sweating any place near it .

We are having a bumper crop of poison ivy..............I hate using round up but yesterday I mixed up a batch real strong and went around spraying it. It is even in my close to the house gardens, for one of the first times.

I have small spots of it all over my hands, and that is with washing with dawn dish soap every time I came back into the house and wearing heavy gloves. Dawn gets rid of the oils. You let it sit on your skin for a minute.

I never get any rash from the castor beans. Hubby loves the look of them and people grow them all over town and they sell them at greenhouses too. I am careful with them, especially with the children and puppies. My friend grows them as well and she never had any trouble. They are mildly poisonous to dogs and humans. Some people can be more senitive than others as well. I do warn people not to touch them. If it were up to me I would not grow them but hubby plants them every year so I put them out front and away from puppies.
I find some types of wild grasses that grow locally give me a rash on my legs.

They are not supposed to sell them here because the castor bean is the worst of the plant .It killed off a guys rabbits and goats and that was when I first moved here and the health department stepped in .He had them growing all over his property when he bought the land and did not know what the plant was .That was back in 2005 once started here they grow like a weed .

Wow that's aweful! Didn't know that they are so bad. Not sure why everybody grows them here. Deer never eat them and I could do with less rabbits but shocking to hear they are so lethal. Will cut seed pods off. Hubby insists on growing them.

Can't believe I finally got paid just today from Google! Was $ 102.00 dollars!! (Canadian) first check ever! I think my channel makes about 30 or 40 dollars per month but it is growing fast compared to last year and no money. I should just keep it in bank for now I think .

I think you should spend it on the pond, ;)
Got a new gazebo at half price so that money went to gazebo. Its a better model than my old gazebo. Just got it today but weather sucks so will work on putting it up tomorrow. My old gazebo is worn and torn.
