After much more "overthinking", it may behoove me to use a 3 blox across configuration, instead of 2. If I can make that work, I wouldn't need (I don't think), a vault extension x 2,..because i wouldn't need to dig as deep,..way less money. This is of course if I can't come up with an appropriate culvert, or any other DIY vaults. I just have keep working the math to make sure the liner will accommodate all dimensions.

Also now have to make sure the 15x20 basin liner will accommodate. Sigh, live and learn.

My 1-liner system ended requiring 3 liners. It happens.

I'm still going to call around tomorrow for a last ditch effort to find an appropriate culvert pipe. I'd still prefer a smaller footprint for the basin, and dbl stack the blox,.. but 2 commercial vaults plus 2 extensions, that's close to grand, ridiculous for plastic! Btw, is all culvert pipe plastic?, or do I need to specify when I'm calling around tomorrow searching.

@combatwombat , if I wind up going with a new culvert from tractor supply, with shipping its 389.98. That's a 9.75' section, so I could cut to my exact basin needs x2 (two pumps). Amazon has 2 different 18" lids, one for an 18" septic, for 64.99, and another 18" one that says "heavy duty for corrugated pipe" for 78.99. Do you happen to know if there's much difference, worth the extra 14 bucks?

No. Tell them you want HDPE. Most is made by a company called NDS.

Couldn’t tell ya. Post the links and I’ll see if I can spot a difference.

I've since found these online. IF I wind up going with culvert, this will likely be the covers.

this should help you out a whole lot. I think you'll find a lot of what we have been describing in johns video below . If you spend time and go through his you tube channel you'll get a very good understanding of what you can do with your lot.

Excellent, and very helpful video. Thanks!. I was pleased that many of his points I was already aware of.

I had thought about building my cistern with cinderblock walls and piers. Then place plastic pallets across them.

I tell ya, I've expended a tremendous amount mental energy today just trying to make sure I come up with the best basin footprint as possible. Both from a practical, but as well as a financial one. This sloped area I'm dealing with, while being a wonderful palette, brings with it a ton of obstacles! But that is for sure my M.O., always 2nd guessing, analyzing, re-analyzing, until finally I'm convinced. Truly drive myself 🤪
