It is rated to pretty cold temperatures, down to zone 3, I bought some last summer to try out, really like it. They say it is medicinal also.

Oh, my, Addy! I remember seeing someone's bog beans, and decided I was going to watch for them at the local stores, but I didn't remember that they had such beautiful flowers! Those are some amazing shots of them. Thanks for sharing. You seem to have just about everything in and around your ponds. Love it!

I have heard the the Chinese people use bog bean as a medically as a sedative, and it is also helpful in relieving migraine headaches, rheumatoid and osteo arthritis.

The leaves are the medicinal part of the plant. Best picked from May to July, and sun dried under moderate heat.

For treatment of rheumstoid arthritis, combine well with Black cohoshs and celery seed.

I should look to grow this plant as I have arthritis in my hands and it is getting worse every year!!

two nights now, trying to trap another ground hog that moved in under our garage. Caught the first one.

Took it for a ride, released out in the woods, near a stream away from people

So set the trap, ............caught a possum two nights now, they must like the fresh apple I leave in it.

What more could you ask for, dry lodgings, all the food you can eat plus, not bothered, shot at etc. ..............the word is out...........move in!
