Speaking of terrifying things that latch on to you... I found a tick crawling on me today... second one of the year already. Those things make me paranoid every time I'm hiking.

The turkeys are becoming a daily thing now. I expect once mating season is over they'll disappear, but I love seeing them often. I get nervous when they cross the busy street...and they take their time, too...

Today, the female was here. Right outside my door. My neighbor has been putting out corn so it's been over there a lot, along with the ducks, and last night a raccoon.

Great stuff @Figgy! Love the pheasant! Always wanted to see one that isn't inside of a zoo.



Today the female turkey was back. No surprise. In fact, she's still here and sleeping in the driveway. Equally as exciting, the first Northern Oriole appeared today! A nice bright male, too! I've gotta buy some oranges.
