Neat! I guess he is a bit camera shy and took off quick.
Maybe you will have little ones soon.

Beautiful day out today. We finally hit the 70°s. I've been doing some yard work today and more to do but I thought I'd take a break and share yesterday's adventure. Here's a few photos, and there are more at the end of my video. I came here last autumn and it looked great then, and now it looks equally as great! Wildflowers were blooming all over, mostly these Wood Squills which are from Russia and can be invasive (clearly!) but they looked great in the woods!

One of my favorite parts of the trail is this short stepping stone path.

and here's the video I took:

What a nice Spring walk w/all those pretty blooms. And I hear a train, I love the sound of a distant train horn blowing.

Pretty bird.

I was going to use this drip hose for the pond, but..........................had to buy another one because...............not the best picture, but I did not want to disturb it.

Today I looked out and saw a European Goldfinch on my feeder. I haven't seen one since 2010, when a pair of them continuously came to the feeders from April to June.

Cool photos, I love these birds. I bought some nyger seed and sunflower hearts and managed to get these down to my garden for the first time this week. My photos aren't as impressive as yours but I was delighted to have them in my garden and took a photo for keepsake (can you spot the Robin?) :

The pigeons can't get at the feeders so have to make do with anything that falls below:
